Science-Backed Emission Factors
In UnibloomSwitch Pro, our data comes from a curated database of 20,000+ emission factors for food, metals, packaging, plastics, transportation and other materials and activities, sourced from industry-standard databases (ecoinvent, Agrifootprint and others), Unibloom’s in-house data development by sustainability experts, and peer-reviewed studies. Aligned with the GHG protocol, all data sources are transparent and documented. These are also complemented by web-sourced data..
Data Confidence Levels
In Unibloom Switch Pro, each data point has an associated data confidence level, based on multiple factors including precision rating (whether the data is verified or estimated), time representativeness (how recent the data is), technology representativeness (how close the modelled technology is to the described technology), geographical representativeness (how close the data represent the stated location), consistency (variability among different sources) and source reliability.

Each data point shows when it was last updated. Pro users get access to verified, real-time supplier data.
